Elevated Grassware is about changing the conversation around the ritual.
For generations, the water pipe has often been associated with secrecy, embarrassment, stereotypes and cheap paraphernalia. Meanwhile, alcohol has been given beautiful bottles, crystal glasses, decanters, tasting rooms, rituals and entire cultures built around gathering together. I take a beautiful bottle—something that once represented craftsmanship, celebration and gathering—and give it another life.
Not hiding it. Not apologizing for it. Elevating it.
And importantly, I am not trying to make the moment edgy. I'm trying to make it beautiful, intentional, social and worthy of a place at the table.
Hidden no more
For a long time, the ritual was something you hid.
Hidden in drawers.
Hidden in closets.
Hidden behind euphemisms and stereotypes.
We think it's time to look at it differently.
We take bottles that were created to celebrate craftsmanship, character and good company—and give them a second life.
Not as something disposable.
Not as something to be ashamed of.
But as beautifully crafted pieces designed for conversation, connection and the moments we share.
Because maybe the thing that needed changing wasn't the ritual.
Maybe it was the way we looked at it.
So we started saving bottles. Whiskey, tequila, gin, cognac. We clean them, fit them with hand-blown borosilicate hardware, and finish them by hand. The result is a piece that belongs on the same shelf as its old neighbors — because it is one of them.
